The Arkansas Delta Arts Partnership will host a day long Art Extravaganza on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The Arkansas Delta Arts Partnership will host a day long Art Extravaganza on Saturday, September 14 on historic Cherry Street in downtown Helena.  Artists are encouraged to enter works of their choice into the Painting, Photography and Digital Photography competitions. First, second and third place winners will receive cash prizes in each category and will be recognized at a wine reception that evening at 6 pm, at the Miller Annex.
A smartphone photography class will be held at 11 am at 310 Cherry Street, taught by Tommy Wallace. This internationally exhibited photographer will take you through the beginning steps of creating strong photos and tweaking them with the Snapseed editing tool. Show up with a charged smartphone and the free Snapseed app downloaded. Cost is $20.
In addition, ADAP will host the Cherry Street Art Walk, which will take place in the 223 block of Cherry Street, 1-5 pm on September 14th. Artists, Photographers and Crafters are invited to showcase and sell their work during the art walk, 10 x 10 vendor spaces are available for $50.00 and no commission will be collected from artists.
Everyone is invited to attend the Art Extravaganza Reception at 6 pm that evening where art will be available for viewing and purchase.
