Kevin Smith has been elected Mayor of Helena-West Helena after the votes were counted from the General Runoff Election held Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Smith with 1,202 votes (51.28%) defeated James F. “JF” Valley who had 1,142 votes (48.72%), by only 60 votes on Tuesday. A total of 2,351 votes were officially cast in the runoff.

Joe St. Columbia, 420 votes (53.23%) defeated John H. Huff, Jr., 369 votes (46.77%) in the Helena Alderman Ward 2 Position 1 race.

Christopher “Foe Foe” Franklin, 1,287 votes (55.71%) defeated Adrian Messina, 1,023 votes (44.29%) in the Helena Alderman Ward 2 Position 2 race.

Monica Cartwright Davis, 367 votes (56.55%) defeated Larry Brown, 282 votes (43.45%) in the Helena Alderman Ward 3 Position 1 race.

Don Etherly, 1,472 votes (64.36%) defeated Vivan Holder, 815 votes (35.64%) in the Helena Alderman Ward 3 Position 2 race.
