Wooster Independence Day Celebration: 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23; In Wooster; Festivities will begin with a lawnmower pull, there will be a live band, kids' games and prizes, a bounce house, and a pie and cake auction, concessions will also be available. Festivities will conclude at dusk with a fireworks display.  A patriotic program, officiated by Mayor Terry Robinson, will precede the fireworks display.  Faulkner County Judge Jim Baker will address the public.  Other elected officials and candidates for elected offices have also been invited to participate.

CAPCA Governing Board Meeting: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28; CAPCA Administrative Office, 707 Robins St. Suite 118 in Conway;Committees will begin meeting at 5:30 pm.The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss program updates, committee reports and funding proposals.  The Governing Board will also review and adopt the 2018-2019 CSBG Grant Request. ARDOT "30 Crossing" Public Hearing: 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 12; Wyndham Riverfront (Silver City Rooms), located at 2 Riverfront Place in North Little Rock; The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), will conduct an open forum Location and Design Public Hearing to present and discuss the 30 Crossing Environmental Assessment (EA) and proposed design plans.
