Kicking off June 12, Workshop in the Arts summer camp blends educational and performance opportunities that help participants develop skills that will last a lifetime.

For students entering grades three through 12, Workshop in the Arts offers a unique experience that challenges creativity and imagination as it focuses on activities related to various techniques used in performing.

“Take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore the magic and fantasy of theatre this summer and make friendships that last a lifetime,” said Director Kirk Whiteside. “Our goal is to inspire young people to discover their own unique creativity and hone their talents in an exciting camp and production.”

With sessions running from 8 a.m. Until noon each Monday through Thursday, June 12 - July 13, the program also motivates students through learning the fundamental concepts used in creating visual art. Instructed by special guest artists, participants will get to collaborate with theatre professionals and showcase their talents in Lily Peter Auditorium in an exciting staged production.

The cost is $125 per student, and space is limited. For more information, call (870) 338-6474, ext. 1210.
