The U.S. Travel Association has declared the week of May 7-13 as National Travel and Tourism Week. A group of local tourism professionals are planning a celebration on Tuesday, May 9, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Arkansas Welcome Center at 1007 Martin Luther King Drive. Area attractions and tourism-related organizations will set up information tables, and refreshments will be served.
