Funeral services for Lillie Mae Henderson will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 23 at New Haven M.B. Church.
Lillie Mae Henderson was born April 3, 1961 to Essie Henderson and Givel Kills in Elaine.
Lillie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Gumwood M.B. Church in Ratio.
Lillie worked as a farm worker until she was in a car wreck at the age of 26, which left her paralyzed.
Lillie answered her heavenly call on April 15, 2016 at her home in Helena-West Helena.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, James Henderson, Timothy Otis, Aretha (Albert) Otis-Steverson, Shalanda (George) Otis-Hicks, Lashanda Otis, and Brenda (Anthony) Otis-Rushing; a host of stepchildren; 20 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Ruth Henderson; brothers, Joe (Annie) Henderson, George Henderson, and Robert Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, caretakers and friends.
Funeral services for Lillie Mae Henderson will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 23 at New Haven M.B. Church. Rev. Izah Broadus will officiate. Interment will be in Morning Star Cemetery at Elaine. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 22 at Brown's Home for Funerals.
