Appearing as the next Warfield Concert in Helena-West Helena will be the Moscow Festival Ballet presenting a special 2-part performance featuring the ever popular Romeo and Juliet.
Sponsored by Walter and Louise Smith, this dramatic production will open at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. Masterfully combining the music of Chopin with outstanding ballet, Chopiniana will be the first performance depicting an enchanting moonlight fantasy involving a young poet.
The highlight of the evening will be the powerful story of love and death in Romeo and Juliet. The refined dancers of the Moscow Festival Ballet Company bring this tragic tale to life, revealing the dynamic spirit of these two ill-fated lovers when they realize their passion for each other is doomed.
The Moscow Festival Ballet has toured throughout the United States and abroad wowing audiences worldwide.

Admission to this and other Warfield Concerts by world-renowned artists is free. Each Warfield concert is presented at 7:30 p.m. in Lily Peter Auditorium located at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas in Helena, unless otherwise stated.
