Helena Regional Medical Center recently received a “Certificate of Excellence in the Advertising-Special Visual Category” from the Arkansas Hospital Association according to HRMC Marketing Director Sharon Martin.

“In rural healthcare we must think outside the box and sometimes get creative with the materials we have,” commented Martin.

HRMC’s mobile billboard project they refer to as, “A little Vegas in the Delta’ allows the hospital to take its advertising and promotions out to remote areas so that travelers get the opportunity to see just what HRMC has to offer.

Martin went on to say, “It is not a permanent billboard, but one that is mobile and easy to change at a minimal cost.”

There were 167 entries in the AHA’s overall Diamond award program. This, said Martin, marked the 21st year of the Diamond awards program.

“This was a team effort,” reported Martin. “This mobile board was created with the help of HRMC’s Facilities Department, who built the trailer and helped place the vinyl. But it was the brainstorming of Dr. L.J. “Pat” Bell that gave us the idea for the development.”

Martin concluded saying, “HRMC strives to do a superb job of marketing our, ‘Quality Care, Right Here’ logo. This is just another one of the special services that Helena Regional Medical Center offers our citizens right here in the Delta.”
