Funeral Services for Malik Issah will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 25 at the New Haven MB Church in Helena-West Helena. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 24 in the Wilson’s Funeral Home chapel.
Malik Issah was born July 21, 1991 to Delois Frierson and Muhammed Issah.
His hobbies included fishing, spending time with his children, family especially his aunt, “Mom” Jeanette and his very special uncle, Raymond Willie. He loved his family very much.
His mother, Delois Frierson and grandparents, Edward and Alberta Frierson, preceded him in death.
His leaves his children, Malayya Delois Issah of Forrest City, Kaylin M. Issah, Jayden A. Issah, Kaleashia and Kaleash of Helena-West Helena; an aunt, “Mom”, Jeanette (Raymond) Willie of Helena-West Helena; his stepfather, Danielle Wright of Little Rock; his sister, LaCandice (Gerald) Wilson of Little Rock; and brother, Corey Scott of Tacoma, Washington; uncles, Edward (Shawn) Frierson Jr., Curtis Calvin Frierson, Kaddrin Frierson, Sedric (Ebony) Frierson, all of Little Rock, AR, David (Vickey) Frierson of Bossier City, LA, Michael (Regina) Jennings of Texas, Carl Frierson of California, Melvin (Linda) Frierson of Helena-West Helena; aunts, Edward Jean (William) Calvin of Lexa, Tymli Frierson of Little Rock, Annette Shaw of St. Louis, Mo.; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Rev. Calvin Frierson will officiate.
Burial for Malik Issah will be in combination with the burial of his great-great aunt Carrie Lee immediately following her services at 2 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Garden in the Southland Community.
