Destiny Chamblis was one of several Central High School students that entered the Scholastic Art Contest and exhibit. Destiny won a "Silver Key" Award and was selected to have her painting, "DC2b" exhibited in the Magna Bank exhibit following the Scholastic Art exhibit. She also entered the Young Arkansas Artists competition and exhibit, along with other students from CHS. The painting "Vieenies" was selected to be exhibited in the show. It will be on exhibit from May 1- July 26. According to CHS 9-12 art instructor Brent Harris, these are both state and region competitions, and just being exhibited in one is a big honor.
