Funeral services for Minnie Lee Williams, 66, 0f Helena, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at The Church of the Living God. Eldress Mary Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 at Brown's Home for Funerals. 

Minnie Lee Williams was born May 19,1948 to the late Carrie Jane Patrick-Williams and Robert Lee Williams in Wabash.

She accepted Christ at a young age and joined Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.  She sang with the No. 3 choir, and served on the usher board at Galilee M.B. Church.

She worked at the Helena Compress from 1968-1969. Before this she was a seamstress at Marsh Field Department Store in Chicago, Ill.

She had various hobbies ranging from water painting to styling hair with her Aunt Ida.  Minnie also liked to participate in floral gardening.

 In her later years, God blessed her with a loving daughter and two loving sons.

 She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and a friend to many.

Minnie departed this life on Thursday Feb. 19, 2015 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock surrounded by her family.

Her parents the late Carrie and Robert Lee Williams, a sister, Ida B. Williams, a brother, Edward J. Williams and an aunt, Hattie Rittley, precede her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Angela Williams-Bethune of Little Rock; two sons; Rickey Williams and Cedric Frazier, both of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Myisha Bethune, Jasmine Williams and Roman Williams, all of Little Rock; four brothers, Robert Williams (Erma Jean), Freddy Williams, both of Chicago, Ill.; Willie (Francine) Williams of Russellville, Lafrance (Rebecca) Smith, Louisville, Ky.; two play daughters, Lou Ann (Jerome) Vann and Sarah Scott of Little Rock; a close friend Dorothy Drayton of Poplar Grove and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
