Funeral services for Mrs. Lovie Edmond Kale, 74, of Helena-West Helena, will be 11 a.m. Saturday March 31 at St. Peter M.B. Church located on Old Little Rock Road.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lovie Edmond Kale, 74, of Helena-West Helena, will be 11 a.m. Saturday March 31 at St. Peter M.B. Church located on Old Little Rock Road. Rev. James Hicks will officiate. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens in Southland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday March 30at Kincaid Funeral Services located at 1164 Highway 49.
Mrs. Kale was born March 8, 1938 to the late Johnny and Nellie Edmond in Helena-West Helena. She confessed a profound love and a deep faith in Jesus Christ at a very young age where she united with the St. Peter M.B. Church. After battling a long illness the Lord reached down and called home on March 20, 2012.
Her commitment and dedication to others reflects in the countless memories shared by so many who were touched by her including her parents, Mr. Johnnie and Mrs. Nellie Edmond, who preceded her in death, two children Thurman Kale and Emma Jean Kale who proceeded her in death as infants, a brother Johnny Edmond Jr., who proceeded her in death.
Also a son, LaGanzie (Pamela) Kale; a sister Donna Gail Edmond, three nephews, Xavier Flowers, Christopher Edmond, Greg Edmond; a niece-in-law Erma T. Jackson; a nephew-in-law Sidney Randle, Donna (Paris) Battles, Joyce (Floyd) Bryant, Christopher Edmond, Anthony Foreman, Frankie Foreman, Kenneth Foreman, Marion Foreman Jr., Melvin (Debra) Foreman, Rickey (Onika) Foreman, Ronnie (Carolyn) Foreman, the Late Ivory Joe Medley, Cheryl (Alphonso) Patton and Lawrence (Gloria) Peavey; and a multitude of people who will forever be touched by her love, her deeds, and her spirit.
