Funeral services for Sandra Kaye Arnett will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at the New Hope M.B. Church. Rev. Billy Williams will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, March 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at the New Zion Cemetery.
Sandra Kaye Arnett was born Jan. 28, 1962 in Helena to a loving and caring mother, Ineda Woods and Sammuel Arnett Sr.
Sandra accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. G.R. Mazique.
She was a member of the Central High School Class of 1980.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Sammuel Arnett Sr., her stepfather, R.C. Barclay, two sisters, Mary Jones and Rosie Smith-Speed, a brother, Edward Smith, grandmother, Elizabeth Minley, an aunt, Noami Dyer and a god sister, Leaundra Hays.
Sandra passed on Feb. 24, 2012 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Joe N. Holden III, and Calvin Arnett Sr.; a daughter, Angela Holden; her loving mother, Ineda Barclay; two granddaughters, Alivya Holden and Cavonna Arnett; five grandsons, Joe N. Holden IV, Calvin Arnett Jr., Nicholas Arnett, Braylon Holden and Joshua Arnett; four brothers, Bobby Smith, Marcus (Karen) Mitchell, Sammuel (Stacy) Arnett, Jr. and Clarence Allen; sisters, Linda (Charles) Askew, Carol (Charles) Brown, Gloria (Carl) Burnett, Mattie Mitchell, Samantha Arnett, Jackie Arnett, Erma Arnett, Dorothy Arnett; four stepsisters and brothers; a special cousin, Andrew Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
