National Weather Service forecasters urge Arkansans to watch for severe weather Tuesday night.

A cold front moving eastward from Texas and Oklahoma will likely bring severe storms after dark. Forecasters say there is a strong possibility of strong-to-severe thunderstorms Tuesday night across Arkansas, and project a 5 percent chance of tornadoes and a 15 percent chance of hail across the northern portion of the state. They say the primary threat will be damaging winds that will reach speeds upwards of 60 miles per hour.

The bad weather should be cleared up early Wednesday morning.
