Helena Regional Medical Center has announced that starting in January, it will be rotating University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences residents through the local hospital – one resident per month through June. 

 

Helena Regional Medical Center has announced that starting in January, it will be rotating University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences residents through the local hospital – one resident per month through June. 
Dr. Pittman Moore will be the physician preceptor for these  residents.  As a physician preceptor, he will serve as a mentor and will allow the residents to assist with deliveries, surgeries, consults and any other services offered by Dr. Moore.
 “We are so excited about the opportunity to work with UAMS to offer this opportunity to their residents,” stated Jim Sato, chief executive officer at HRMC.  “We would like to welcome the residents to Helena and thank Dr. Moore for taking on this project.”
 The residents will have the opportunity rotate through all the nursing, clinical, and administrative departments at the hospital well as The Moore Clinic.  
Dr. Mary Ukor from Nigeria will be the first of six residents to participate in this six- month rotation.
