According to the Helena-West Helena City Council agenda, some old business will be discussed at tonight’s session, involving some legal items that city attorney Chalk Mitchell has been reviewing regarding ordinances pertaining to fees on warrants and dealing “baggy pants” proposed by the Helena-West Helena Police Department. 

 



According to the Helena-West Helena City Council agenda, some old business will be discussed at tonight’s session, involving some legal items that city attorney Chalk Mitchell has been reviewing regarding ordinances pertaining to fees on warrants and dealing “baggy pants” proposed by the Helena-West Helena Police Department. 



Mitchell reportedly will also present a revised contract detailing all entities included on the non-permanent Reservoir Hill lease. Mayor Arnell Willis plans to discuss the 2012 budget and the possible selling of vacation time by employees.  The Council also will bring in the new year with some new business detailing the new East Arkansas Regional Solid Waste agreement, which will increase the tonnage rate from at the landfill from$28 to $33. 



Councilman Eddie Clark reportedly will address the city council salary and propose an adjustment and payment for current education incentive for elected officials that was discontinued by the previous administration. 



Code Enforcement Officer Patrick Allen is expected to discuss the status of the demolition permit approval and the old Helena High School on Biscoe. 



The council session will take place at 6 tonight at City Hall.
