Funeral services for Lucille "Toni" Coleman, 67, of Helena-West Helena will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1517 Holly Street in Helena. Rev. Billy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery in Southland.
Coleman was born Oct. 13, 1942 in Flora, Miss. to the late Will Simmons and Sallie B. Toombs.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Eddie (Debbie) Simmons of Santa Monica, Calif.; a granddaughter, Shakahn Simmons of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Willie Jean Pearce and Estella Toombs, both of Helena-West Helena; 21 special nieces and nephews, Maxcine Bracy of Helena-West Helena, Mary (James) Woodard of Springfield, Va., Jessie L. Jones Jr., Dorothy (Joseph) Cannon, both of Helena-West Helena, Wilma Turner of Memphis, Linda White, Johnnie Pierce, Cordelia Ann Foster, Betty (Anthony) Fulton, Hezekiah Pierce, Willie Pierce, Georgia Dodds, all of Helena-West Helena, Katie Pierce, Michael Pierce, Kenny Pierce, all of Little Rock, James McAuthor Pierce, Patricia Davis, Carl Milton, all of Helena-West Helena, Frederick Dotson of Memphis, Demarcus Bell and Demetria Bell, both of Helena-West Helena; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
