The head of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department is reminding candidates and their supporters to keep political signs off highway rights of way.



 

 The head of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department is reminding candidates and their supporters to keep political signs off highway rights of way.

AHTD Director Dan Flowers says only official directional, informational and regulatory signs are allowed on state-owned highway property.

All other signs will be removed.

Flowers says the laws apply to all signs — not just political signs.
