Helena-West Helena Police officers are investigating numerous break-ins and thefts that occurred during the weekend. Several vandalism victims reported light purple paint sprayed on their vehicles, houses and mailboxes.

Alan Harpole of Springdale apartments told police Friday that he was working on the apartment complex and left the job site for about an hour and when he returned a rooter used for sewage clean-out and a kitchen range were stolen from the complex. A resident said he saw three men in a pickup take the items, one was an older white male and two younger black males. The stolen items were later recovered at Friedman?s Scrap Metal Company on Old Little Rock Road.
