“But he knoweth the way that I take; when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as pure gold." Job 23:10
George Brian Miller was born July 26, 1992 to Robert and Deneen Miller. He weighed 7lbs. and 5 ozs. At the time of his birth, he had one sibling, his brother Robbie. Later he became big brother to Elijah and Zoe.
He was a very happy baby and grew up to be fun loving young man.
Georgie accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 6. Pastor Robert Anderson baptized him at First Baptist Church-Cordell. Later he became a member of Liberty Church where his pastor was Jim Bolding.
During the time he was able, he assisted in the television ministry for Liberty Church.
George Brian was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was 9 years old. He went through a 12- hour surgery and successfully made it through.
After his surgery Georgie was determined to do one thing, grow back his hair and he successfully did that. He had thick, black, long beautiful hair that would make any weave- wearing girl mad.
During middle school Georgie was known for his beautiful smile, his long braids and big brown eyes. Later on in high school he became known as the candy man because he was very successful at selling candy. He was a true entrepreneur.
During that time, Georgie loved playing video games, and going to the movies with his best friend Jason Hildreth. He loved to draw and was a great artist. He designed drawings of black cartoon characters and we encouraged him to pursue his drawing and to contact newspapers for publication.
During his 10th grade year the brain tumor returned. He went through radiation and chemotherapy but it was not successful.
George graduated El Dorado High School May 2011.
He loved going to El Dorado Football games with his dad. They rarely missed a game in or out of town.
Georgie was loving and compassionate. He loved his brothers and sister. He lived a life of doing for others. He was always concerned about others and how they were feeling. Georgie never complained or asked why.
He went to be with the Lord on Jan. 29, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer. During his peaceful passing at home, Georgie was surrounded by family and friends. The George Miller smile will never be forgotten.
Preceding him in death was his maternal grandmother Juanita Woods of Georgia.
