A 5-year-old Earle boy is dead after police say he was struck by a sport-utility vehicle after running into the street.
Arkansas State Police troopers say Xarious Holmes died from the injuries he suffered in the Thursday afternoon collision. Troopers say an SUV turned on Arkansas Street from Arkansas 149 and hit Holmes at 5:22 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
