The culmination of any competition comes the presentation of awards.
Tuesday night was that occasion when the Twin City Athletic Association presented trophies to players and coaches from 16-under girls and Pony League down to the T-ball teams.
Even as some games were still under way, new TCAA President Randy Smith wedged in a few minutes between the contests to award the youngsters.
Team photos of some of those league winners appear on this page today. More will be displayed next week beginning with Tuesday’s edition.
There are still more distict and state tournaments  including the 15-year-olds all-star game 1 p.m. Friday June 26 at Lonoke against Brinkley.
The Firefighters dominated play in the league with a 15-1 record that included several non-league games.
The times, dates and sites for the other post-season tournaments will be announced next week.
   Best wishes to those teams.
