Texas A&M in Dallas and Seton Hall as part of the SEC/Big East Invitational in
Louisville, Ky.
Arkansas opens its season Nov. 18 against Grambling State in Walton Arena, part of
the four-game Razorback Showcase including games at Walton, Nov. 22 against Florida
Gulf Coast and Nov. 24 against Southeast Missouri State coached by former Arkansas
State coach Dickey Nutt.
The Razorbacks conclude their Razorback Showcase hosting UAB (Alabama-Birmingham)
Nov. 26 at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock.
Oklahoma visits Walton Arena on Dec. 1.
Also coming nonconference to Walton are Mississippi Valley State, Dec. 15; Texas
Southern, Dec 22; North Carolina A&T, Dec 29 and Texas-Arlington, Dec. 31.
The Razorbacks play a rare second semester nonconference game hosting Florida A&M,
Feb. 16 at Walton.
Regarding his team’s schedule, Arkansas coach John Pelphrey wa quoted in a UA press
release: “We have a very challenging non-conference schedule. “With UAB, Oklahoma,
Seton Hall, Texas and Texas A&M, it should be an exciting schedule for both our
players and the fans. We have never shied away from putting together a difficult
schedule and this year reiterates that. In regards to the SEC schedule, there are
again a lot of challenges ahead of us. Our fans will get to see some of the best
when we play Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia at home, to name a few.”
