BER, Allen win district softball titles

Althea Wheeler and Jackie Swindle coached Brown Equipment Rental through a rugged three-game set of softball Saturday at Forrest City before turning back Hays Food Town in the championship game to win the district tournament.

Brandon Robertson and Kellie Robertson coached Allel Law Firm to the 10 and under district championship Saturday at the Forrest City Sports Complex. Team members are Kaylie Schwantz, Keirstyn Hamilton, Kristen Smith, Sarah Rhodes and Katelyn Riddell. Standing from left: Mikelyn Bush, Madison Guest, Raegan Helton, Kiara Craig, Shy Nelson and Nay Nay Lofton. Brandon Robertson said by winning the championship game Saturday Allen Law Firm took its third straight district crown. The state tournament will be July 10-12 at Forrest City.
