Funeral services for Erma Sheffield, 76, of Little Rock and formerly of Helena-West Helena will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 6, 2009, at the Mabelvale Church of Christ at 10820 Mabelvale West in Mabelvale. Burial will be in Oakland Fraternal Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be Sunday, July 5 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Kincaid Funeral Services and Monday, July 6 from 10 to 11 am at the Mabelvale Church of Christ.
Ms. Sheffield was born Sept. 25, 1932 in Grenada, Miss. to the late Sam and Willie Erma Williams-Kincaid. She was a graduate of Eliza Miller High School in West Helena and attended Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas where she earned her degrees.
She met and married Clifton Sheffield and lived many places before settling in Little Rock. She worked for Pathfinder Inc. in Little Rock and was dedicated to her field and devoted to the care and well being of her clients. 
Ms. Sheffield passed away following a brief illness June 26, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Clinton Sheffield of Huntsville, Texas, Clifford Sheffield and Rodrick Sheffield, both of Little Rock; two brothers and a sister, Sam Lewis (Mary) Kincaid of North Aurora, Ill.; Will Otis Robinson of St. Louis and Odesta Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; 3 grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
