Zola Turner, 87, of Lexa died Wednesday, June 24, 2009. She was born to William Henry Heggie and Betty Sue Norris, Feb. 18, 1922 in Montgomery County, Tenn.
Three daughters, Sue Hughes of Helena-West Helena, Stacie Turner of Southaven, Miss. and Virginia Chapman of Helena-West Helena; eight grandchildren, Rita Sue Robinson, Janie Turner, William Peters, Zola Tyler, Joseph Hughes, Mark Hughes, Virginia Reynolds and Danny Peters; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother Luther Heggie of Erin, Tenn., survive Turner.
Her parents, William and Betty Heggie, her husband, Joe Turner, a granddaughter, Laura Sue Peters, brothers, Daily Heggie and William Heggie and sisters, Delmar, Jennie and Shirley, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be William Peters, Jordan Tyler Ralph Akers, Danny Peters, Ronald Cagle, and Timmy Reynolds.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today, Friday, June 26, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park with Brother Rodger Hooker officiating.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will direct services and friends may sign the online guest book at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
