Funeral services for Odell Booth Sr., 67, will be held at the Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Trenton at noon on Saturday. Rev. Earl Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove M.B. Church Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. tonight in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel.
Odell Booth Screws was born Dec. 25,1942 to the late Jessie Mae Booth and Willie Lee Booth of Flint, Mich. Odell died Feb. 24, 2010
He was preceded in death by a son, Antonio Booth, his mother, Jessie Mae Booth, a niece, Mona Lisa Booth and grandmother, Ida Scaife.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Tracy (Fena) Booth, Calvin (Rachael) Booth of Conway, Odell Jr. (Shemika) Booth of Helena-West Helena; four daughters, Myrtis and Kimberly Booth of Bakerfield, Calif., LaShanda Booth of Helena, Nakisha Booth of Marvell; his father, Willie Lee Booth of Flint, Mich.; five sisters, Myrtis (Walter) Calhoun, Ernestine Walker of Flint, Thressa (Jimmy) Sanders of Modesto, Calif., Mildred (Fred) Thomas of Yukon, Okla., Lillie Johnson of St Louis; a brother, Jerry (Columbus) Booth of Flint; 36 grandchildren; a mother, in law Lessie Boose of Poplar Grove; 2 uncles, John(Kay) Brown of Kansas City, Mo. Ulysses(Lois)Whitlock of Marvell; five sisters-in law; seven brothers-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; three special grandsons.
