Funeral services for Lucille Green Armstrong, 72, will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the PLM&D District Center in Helena Crossing. Rev. Jarvis Smith will officiate. Burial will be follow at Oak Grove No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7p.m. Friday March 5,2010 in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel.
Her mother, Beulah Taylor Green, her father, Dan Green, two sons, Kenneth White, and Leonard White preceded Lucille Green Armstrong in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 7 sons; Johnny (Shirley) Vineyard of Millington, Tenn., James Armstrong of Memphis, Sylvester Kirkwood, William (Jackie) White Jr., Charles (Tammy) Armstrong, all of Helena, Calvin Armstrong of New Orleans, La.; Michael Armstrong of Atlanta, Ga.; 5 daughters Caroline (Willie) Franklin, Kathy White, Towanna Guy, Rosemary (Terry) Garner Jacqueline Guy, all of Helena; 3 brothers, Willie Green of Detroit, Jessie (Mildred) Green, Calvin Green, all of Helena; 3 sisters, Callie(Clyde) Bobo of Lake View; Addie B(Howard) Trice, Armer Cleveland of Helena; a special great grandson, Kejuan Hudson of Helena; a special son-in-law, Michael Campbell Jr. of Helena,; 3 special granddaughters; Shadashia Baker, Kentaiveia Guy, Maria Willis, all of Helena; a special friend, William White Sr.; 37 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
