Jay Clifton Jr. died at his home in Como, Miss. following a 2-year battle with multiple myeloma.
Jay attended DeSoto School and Central High School in Helena and was a member of Delta Sigma Fraternity. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
He had been a partner in Brooks, McGuire and Co. Global Travel Consultants since 1988.
Jay leaves his parents, Homer and Pat Clifton, of Como, his brother, Randy Clifton of Highland Park, Texas.
Services will be at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. A private burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Como.
In lieu of flowers Jay had requested that memorials be sent to Holy Innocents Episcopal Church Columbarium Fund, P.O. Box 391, Como, MS 38619.
