Mary Etta Miller Cooper, 87, widow of Isom Cletis Cooper, housewife, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009 at Sunshine Nursing Home in Pontotoc, Miss.  Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009 at Ray-Nowell Funeral Home in Senatobia, Miss. at 11 a.m. with burial following at 2 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park in Helena-West Helena.
Mrs. Cooper was born Aug. 2, 1922, to the late Mr. L.V. Miller and the late Mrs. Ida Creekmore Miller.
She leaves five daughters, Bonnie Wilson and husband, Frank, of Imboden, Joyce Golden and JoAnn Ward, both of Senatobia, Miss., Pat Chambers and husband, Bobby, of Thaxton, Miss. and Becky Sowell and husband, Tim, of Hernando, Miss.; a son, Harvey Cooper, and wife Elizabeth, of Ripley, Miss.; a brother, V.C. Miller of Elaine; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Isom Cletis Cooper; two sisters, Esterine Smith and Arvey Patton; three brothers, Edward Miller, J.C. Miller and son-in-law Carlon Golden. 
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1900 Dunbarton Drive, Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216.
Ray-Nowell Funeral Home, in Senatobia has charge of arrangements.
