Floyd Smith, 83, of Helena, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 in Helena. He was born Sept. 3 1926 in Oneida to the late Jeff smith and the late Tennessee Frier Smith.
He leaves two sons, Floyd Smith Jr. of Crestview, Fla. and Gayland Godbald of Helena; two daughters, Annie Sue Walker of Helena-West Helena and Mavis Rodman; nine grandchildren. Nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred Davis of California, Lorine Hepperwood of Flagstaff, Ariz., Sarah Smith and Ruth Davis, both of Chicago; and a brother, Jeff Smith Jr. of California.
His wife and parents preceded him in death.
Services for Floyd Smith will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Lexa. Brother Jeff Smith will officiate.
Pallbearers are Terry Ferebee, Richard Dickenson, Howard Taylor, Robert Garrison, Delbert Smith and John Smith.
