Funeral services for Gary Dean Allison, 41, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7  at God's House of Prayer in Moro. Bishop Michael Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. City Cemetery at Felton. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel.
Brother Gary Dean Allison was born June 7, 1969 to the late Drucilla and John Allison at Lee Memorial Hospital in Marianna. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age at the Mt. City M.B. Church in Felton. He was a graduate of the Lee Senior High School Class of 1987.
He moved to Little Rock and worked in construction until his health failed.
He departed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. His mother, Drucilla Hardy, father Richard Hardy, a brother, Keithan Allison Hardy and a sister Joyce Allison, preceded him in death.
He leaves his cherish his memory, a daughter Tieasha Allison of Marianna; three sons Gary Allison of Little Rock, Kylan Allison and Garrion Allison of Arkadelphia; his fiancé, Charlotte Gray of Little Rock; two sisters, Sandra Allison of Booneville, Sharon Allison-Green of Marianna,; 2 brothers, Mike Allison of Little Rock and Ricky (Jerdean) Allison of Brinkley; two aunts, Carrie Williams and Pearlie Williams, both of Marianna and a great-great aunt Annie Lee Brown of Texas; two nieces; six nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Brown's Home for Funerals, Inc. will direct the services.
