Funeral services for infant Ja'Kevion D. Reese will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel at 417 Walnut St. in Helena. Burial will be in the Oak Grove No. 1 Cemetery in Helena-West Helena. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight in the Robert Lee Brown Memorial Chapel.
Ja'Kevion Da'Sean Reese was born to Summara Carter and James Reese on Nov. 18, 2009 in Little Rock at the UAMS Medical Center. God called his angel home on Jan. 23, 2010.
Ja'Kevion leaves to cherish his sweet memory his mother, Summara Carter and his father, James Reese; a twin brother, Ja'Meion Reese of Helena-West Helena; two grandmothers, Sherren Carter and Cynthia Reese of Helena-West Helena; two grandfathers, Leon Dowden and Rev. Jarvis Smith of Helena-West Helena; a step grandfather, David Dodd Jr., of Helena-West Helena; two great grandmothers, Queen Fair, of St. Paul, Minn., and Ruth Fitzpatrick of Helena-West Helena; two uncles, Mekale Carter and James Reese of Helena-West Helena; five aunts, Alisa Dowden, Keairra Reese, Jakayla Reese, Andrea Dolphin and Tiffany Reese. He also leaves many cousins, friends and relatives.
