Caroline Polk Holcomb, 77, of Helena, passed away Jan. 28, 2012 in Little Rock. Mrs. Holcomb was born May 17, 1934 at Helena to the late Cadwallader L. and Myrtis Bramlett Polk. Caroline was a graduate of All Saints College in Vicksburg, Miss. where she earned a Literary Degree in Arts and Music. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Helena and had been the owner of A Travel Agency for the past 50 years.
Mrs. Holcomb leaves a son, John Holcomb and wife, Yvonne of Phoenix; a daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Almeida and husband, Juan Martin of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband, Dr. John Edward Holcomb and a daughter, Melanie Marie Holcomb, preceded her in death.
Memorial services for Caroline Polk Holcomb will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Helena.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 625 Pecan St., Helena, AR. 72342.
