Funeral services for John Edward Green of Helena will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Beautiful Zion M.B. Church in Helena.
Visitation will be from 2 until 5 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Helena-West Helena.
Green died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 after a short illness.
He was the son of John Henry and May Bell Green of Helena. He was also the brother of the late Joseph Greene of Los Angeles, Calif., the father of Steven (Sharon) Redmond, Dahlia Green of San Antonio, Texas and Pamela Green of Houston, Texas; the grandfather of Crystal Green, Terrell J. Green, Warren Green and Scheherezade Y. Redmond, great grandfather of Jalen Green.
Green was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a registered pharmacist and former owner of Park Masonic Pharmacy in San Francisco, Calif.; He will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones.
