Funeral services for Sandra Dee Edwards will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at the New Haven M.B. Church at 404 West St. in Helena-West Helena. Overseer Michael R. Jenkins Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial services will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth at 700 Park Ave. in Helena-West Helena. All, friends and family are welcome to join in this joyful celebration of Sandra's life.
Sandra was born Jan. 17, 1967 to Alco Edwards Sr. and Maple L. Edwards in Wabash. She died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at Helena Regional Medical Center.
Her parents, two sisters, a nephew and a brother-in-law preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Maple Marquitta Edwards; two sons, Marcus Rose and Marqual Rose of Helena-West Helena; four sisters, Willie Ann Williams of Helena-West Helena, Juanita Edwards-Thomas (L.V.) of Memphis, Amanda Glass (Earl) of Pine Bluff and Dreka Edwards-Hudson (Allen) of Helena-West Helena; four brothers, Alco Edwards Jr., Nelson Edwards, Ronnie Lee Edwards and Gary Edwards, all of Helena-West Helena; two special god-children, Alicia Johnson and J.Braylon Sain; several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Brown's Home for Funerals Inc., will direct services.
