Elizabeth Sophia Glassco, 94, beloved wife of the late Gurley Eugene Glassco, went home to be with her Lord, June 23, 2008 in Windsor, Va.
She was born March 5, 1914 to the late Robert Eli Rodden and Bessie Cecil Wood in Phillips County.  She had nine brothers and sisters, Georgie, Willy, Reaba, James, Daphne, Charles, Cornelia, Mary and Pauline.
She leaves her four children; son, Chuck Glassco and wife, Linda; daughter, Margret Sadler and husband, Don; son, Bruce Glassco and wife, Liz and son, Earl Glassco and wife Harriet; grandchildren, Karen, Steven, Kimberly, Alissa, Chrystal, Michael, Deonna, Edward, Dyane, Tim, Renae, Shonna, Brian and Elizabeth; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. 
She served as a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Suffolk, Va.  She will be remembered for the legacy of love she left with everyone whose life touched hers.  Her family and so many friends have been blessed for having known her and we will miss her greatly.
A graveside service for Mrs. Glassco will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at Smalley Cemetery in Marvell.  Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.
