Dorothy Jean Gentry, 82, of Poplar Grove, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at home.  Mrs. Gentry was born Dec. 12, 1929 in Arkadelphia to the late Earl Hudman and the late Odie Malcom Hudman.  She was a member of Lexa Baptist Church.  She leaves four daughters, Juanita Gentry of Gonzales, La., Betty Bryant (Dennis) of Poplar Grove, Carolyn Turner (Ronald) of Lexa and Margret Abels (Bill) of Helena-West Helena; five grandchildren, Michael Crawford, Chris Crawford, Grady Turner, Terah Turner and Brandy Abels; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Hurt of Hope and Sue Bentley of Bryant; four brothers, George Hudman of Hope, Jimmy Hudman of Pasadena, Texas, Alton Hudman of Festus, Miss. and Roland Hudman of Curtis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, Gerald Gentry, four brothers, Vernon, Doyle, David and Harold Hudman and two sisters, Doris Martin and Mary Moore, preceded her in death.

Services for Dorothy Gentry will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at Roller-Citizens.  Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Helena-West Helena.  Brother David Crouch and Brother Tommy Jacobs will officiate.  Pallbearers are Kenny Butler, David Rushing, Randy Hudman, Vernon Dean Hudman, Jerry James, Donnie Bentley, Dennis Bryant and Gerald Wayne Bentley.

Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Gentry to Lexa Baptist Church, P.O.  Box 189, Lexa, AR 72355.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Melody Rogers and Andrea Clark.
