Eugene Watson long time resident of Elaine died peacefully in his sleep at the Inn at the Amethyst Memory Care Center in Peoria, Arz. on Oct. 18 2009.
Born to Forrest and Ethel Watson on July 5, 1921 in Geneva, Ind. he spent most of his life in Elaine.
He leaves his wife, Eloise; a daughter, Genie Ramsden; grandchildren, Melanie and John Mowad and Keri Ramsden; two great-grandchildren, Abbey and Michael Mowad; a sister, Doris Marks; special nieces and nephews, Sharron and Don Wheatley and Clark and Chris Marks; and a host of friends in the Elaine area who were like family.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family hopes that any memorials will be sent to the Disciple Group of the Elaine United Methodist Church in Elaine.
