Funeral services for Clifford Edwin Taylor, 72, formerly of Marvell will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at the New Hope Baptist Church in the Coffee Creek Community near Marvell. Rev. Jerome Turner will officiate. Burial will be in the Taylor Family Cemetery at Coffee Creek.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Stephens Funeral Home chapel.
Taylor died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 in Waukegan, Ill. He was born Jan. 16, 1938 in Marvell to the late A.C. Taylor Sr. and Mattie Taylor.
His parents, a sister, and two brothers preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, four sisters, Margaret (Donald) Davis of Waukegan, Ill., Rebecca (Charles) Williams and Mattie (Eddie) Slates, all of Chicago and Sethelle Mitchell of Marvell; two brothers, A.C. (Mayeotis) Taylor Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Jarrett (Patricia) Taylor of Waukegan; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Taylor of Marvell and Ozena Taylor of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services are entrusted to Stephens Funeral Home in Helena-West Helena.
