Funeral service for Robert Hill, 57, will be held Monday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at the Greater Macedonia M.B. Church in Little Rock. Burial will follow in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, March 7 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Premiere Funeral Home.
Robert Hill Jr., 57, born Dec. 6, 1952 to Robert and Sarah Hill, died March 1, 2010. Robert was a faithful deacon and youth Sunday School teacher at Watson New Life COGIC. He loved the Lord and shared his experience with the Lord with all he met.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 25 years, Wilma; three sons, Dedric Hill (Pam), Robert Hill III, and Steven Marshall; four daughters, Nickie Nation, Nakeisha Jones (Shawn), Jacqueline Nunn (Marvin) and Erica Marshall; seven sisters, Freddie Jackson, Frances Williams, Edwina Williams (Joe), Etta Sterrett (Mikel), Jo Ann Thomas, Gloria Cain (James) and Annette Jones (Patrick); four brothers Odell Holley (Cynthia), Jessie White, Eddie Springs, Kenny Presley (Dorothy); a special brother, Herbert Goss (Eloise); 24 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of ICU South at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and very special thanks to Dr. Victor Williams.
