Funeral services for Ora Lee Cannon, 59, of Helena will be held 2 p.m.  Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Rock House Church on Springdale Road in Helena. Pastor Casey Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Cemetery in the Southland Community.
Cannon, born Oct. 25, 1950 to James Johnson and Martha Morgan-Johnson, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She later moved to Canton, Ohio and joined the Pentecostal Temple Church. She returned to Arkansas and joined the Rock House Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband LoneNail Cannon of Memphis; children, Susan (Llyton) Valentine of Helena and Karnail Highland; siblings, Darrius Jackson, Glenn (Willie) of Barton, Roosevelt Fowley (Cassandra) of Seattle, Wash., Melvin Jackson Jr., (Ala) of Helena-West Helena, Marilyn Jackson-Thomas (Harvey) of Atlanta, Ga., John J. Jackson (Ialantha) of Atlanta, Ga., Norma Bell of Blytheville, Calvin Carter (Pam) of Millington, Tenn., Thomas J. Jackson of Helena, Bryan Carter (Tina) of Jonesboro,  Vernasyne Dockery of St. Anne, Ill., Debra Johnson of Lamesa, Calif., Thelma Jackson of San Diego, Calif., Octavia Johnson of San Diego, Calif., James Johnson Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; aunts, Estella Clay of Helena-West Helena and Pearletha Hubbard of Maryland; five grandchildren; a great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kincaid Funeral Services. Inc.
