Roy Ellis King 74, of Tulsa, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009. 
Roy was born Feb. 5, 1935 in Trenton to Billy and Bernice (Pitts) King.  He served in the Marines during the Korean War. 
For most of his life, Roy was a general contractor in the home construction and home repair industry.  He leaves his wife, Billie Sue (Waters) King, of the home; a son, Brian Douglas King, of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Kelly Leigh Byrd, of Glenpool, Okla.; a brother, Billy Bonner King, Jr., of Helena; 4 grandchildren, Sam and Anne King, of Tulsa and Will and Jared Byrd, of Glenpool. 
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 in Ninde Brookside Chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations may be to the American Cancer Society, Special Olympics or the Tulsa Humane Society.
