Funeral services for Elliott Graham, Jr., 70, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6 at Spring Grove Baptist Church in Haynes. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kincaid Funeral Services in Forrest City. Graham died Feb. 17, 2010 at his home in New York. He was born June 14, 1939 in Forrest City to the late Elliott Graham and Eva Neal Graham. In 1962, Elliott started working as an apprentice sign painter and became a master tradesman-union painter with many related accomplishments and awards over a 40-year period. He also owned his own business, "Graham and Gaston Grand Island Painting Co.," for 5 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 daughters, Patricia Graham and Annette Graham-Bascom; 2 sons, Michael (Erin) Graham and Elliott Graham III; 7 grandchildren, Anthony, Xavier, Brian, Christopher, Charles, William and Tiazza; two great-grandchildren, Kyera and Anthony IV; 6 sisters, Ann Davis, Rosie Hamilton, Bernice Stewart, Geneva Simmons, Vickie Hughlett and Mary Graham; and many other relatives and friends. His parents and 3 brothers, Frank, Arthur and Spencer Graham preceded him in death.
