Thomas Wayne Harper, 48, of Lexa, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 in Helena. Harper was born Oct. 2, 1961 in Helena to Thomas David Harper and the late Dorothy Wilson Harper.

He leaves his wife, Donna Kaye Harper; his father, Thomas D. Harper and stepmother, Helen Harper of Poplar Grove; two sons, Thomas Oscar Harper of Lexa and Stephen Joseph Pitts of Marion; three daughters, Dakota Harper of Marion, LaCona Harper and Linda Terry, both of Mississippi; six grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Mallard and husband, Danny, and Jerri Harper and husband, David, all of Lexa; stepsister, Jonell Norwood and husband, Sidney, of Helena-West Helena; stepbrothers, Bruce Bottorff of Helena-West Helena and James Bottorff and wife, Angela, of Poplar Grove; three nieces, Sarah, Nicole and Elizabeth, all of Lexa; nephew, David, of Searcy; two great-nephews, Parker and Reed, of Lexa; and a great-niece, Peyton, of Searcy.

His mother and a sister, Priscilla, preceded him in death.

Services for Harper will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 9, 2010 at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Lexa. Brother Larry Rice will officiate.

Pallbearers are Elbert Harper, Quinn Harper, Justin Fant, Keith Brown, Garren Bottorff and Ray May. Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Roberts, David Williams, David Hubbard and Buddy Wolfe.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1700 Rutherford Lane, Austin, Texas 78754.
