Funeral service for Marcus Williams, 30, of Marianna will be held at noon Saturday Aug. 7 at the Lee High School. Rev. Ronald Broussard will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrim Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Eternal Light Funeral Services.
Marcus D. Williams was born April 1, 2010 to Grace Broussard of Forrest City and Carlos Williams of Marianna. Marcus professed a hope in Christ in 1987 at the Springfield M.B. Church.
Marcus later moved his membership to the Mt. Calvary M.B. Church. He was a 1998 graduate of Lee Senior High in Marianna. He joined the Air Force soon after. He received an honorable discharge.
After graduation he did some cross-country driving. Marcus loved his family, motorcycles, cars, animals and working on his home with a passion. He believed in living life to the fullest.
His sister, Lameisha Williams, grandparents J.C. and Jessie Mae Williams, grandfather Clarence Moye, uncles Cleophus Moye, Tommy Williams and Joe Moye, preceded Marcus in death.
Khaos, (a name that he called himself) road away on Friday, July 30, 2010 surrounded by loved ones, biker friends and other friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Grace Broussard (Dr. Ronald Broussard) of Forrest City; father Carlos Williams of Marianna; daughter Jubriel Lameisha Williams of Marianna; brothers, Minister Wilbur Williams of Forrest City, Ronald Jr., Kacy and Tyler Williams, all of Marianna; grandmother Elizabeth Moye of Moro; uncles Lorenzo Foreman (Ethel) of Moro, Robert Moye of Brinkley, Ronnie Williams of Minneapolis, Minn., Rickie Williams (Latishia) of Dickinson, Texas and Dr. Terry Williams (LaTonya) of Minneapolis; aunts, Bobbie Appleby of Brinkley; Gloria D. Williams of Forrest City; Gloria Williams Patterson (Rev. Joe Patterson) of Marianna, Christine Williams Allen (Zaches) of Little Rock and Barbara Williams Johnson (Alvin) of Marianna; great aunts, Wanda V. Neal of Pine Bluff and Neomi Love of Oklahoma; niece Rayonna Williams; nephew DeAndre Stone; a special friend, Marqita Anthony of Moro and Ruby Williams of Marianna; and a host of cousins and friends.
