Funeral services for Jeweline Guest, 78, of Marianna will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Bob Neal and Sons-Brickell Funeral Home chapel in Marvell with Brother Jimmy Casey and Brother Larry Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Marvell Cemetery.
Guest, born Feb. 16, 1932 in Parkin the daughter of R. Y. and Carrie Mae Varner Grantham, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
She worked many years as a seamstress at the Bobbie Brooks sewing factory in West Helena and was a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves her husband of over 60 years, Winston Guest Sr., of Marianna; two sons, Winston Guest Jr. and wife, Pam of Marvell; Steven Guest Sr. and wife, Rita of Marvell; a daughter, Reena Brock and husband, Harvey of Watson Chapel; three brothers, Herdon Grantham of Forrest City, Robert Grantham of California and John Lee Grantham, of Mayflower; a sister, Ida Mae Kilpatrick of Cabot; four grandchildren, Wendy VonKanel, Steven Guest Jr., Joe Brock and John Guest; and seven great-grandchildren.
