Charles Liberto Jr., 90, of Fort Smith died Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born March 30, 1928, in Fort Smith. He worked for the Times Record, Riverside Furniture and McCord Wholesale, was a member of the American Legion Junior Baseball team of Fort Smith, a Navy veteran and the widower of Wanda Liberto.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.

He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Calhoun of Pocola; a sister, Josephine Pinto; and a grandchild.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
