Wayne "Dub" Loy Hopson, 78, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in his home. He was a driver for Ballentine Trucking Co., a member of Forty-Three Assembly of God in Van Buren and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Mae Hopson; and his parents, Wallace Pearce Hopson and Velma Mae (McDonald) Hopson.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by three daughters, Wronda Chisolm of Barling, Carol Bright of Van Buren and Shonna Rodden of Fort Smith; two sons, Jacky and Michael Hopson, both of Van Buren; one sister, Linda Black of Van Buren; one brother, LaWayne Hopson of Cedarville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Chisolm, Johnathon Rodden, Larry Summers, J.D. Hopson and Dallas Ball and Robert Ball.
