Former Republican presidential nominee John McCain and two GOP lawmakers are holding a discussion on health care in northwest Arkansas this weekend.
U.S. Rep. John Boozman's office said Monday the Republican congressman from Arkansas is hosting McCain along with Republican Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming for a health care discussion at Springdale Har-Ber High School Sunday night.
Boozman's office said Republican Sen. Mike Johanns of Nebraska may also join the event.
McCain, who is from Arizona, won Arkansas by 20 points in last year's presidential election. It's his first visit to the state since last year's presidential campaign.
The Republican lawmakers are holding the event as the state GOP has targeted Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln's seat as their top prize on next year's ballot.
